At ELIA ND in Munich, the participants learnt how to blog to promote their translation business and had fun doing it together

We are at the ELIA Networking Days in Munich and we - Vicenta Ten Soriano (SDL) Dilek Yazici (DILTRA), Angela Wende and Hans Breuer (CETRA Language Solutions), Flory Stroe (Kwintessential), Francoise Bajon (Version Internationale and President of ELIA) have been given the challenge of writing a blog in under 50 minutes which would be posted on the ELIA website.

The idea came from Neil Payne founder and owner of Kwintessential - who proudly admits that he built his translation and cultural training company on blogging.

Neil showed how easy it is to create a blog when you have the adequate tools by getting a group of novice bloggers to write and post a blog in under 50 minutes. From beginners to expert bloggers, Neil's presentation captured the audience. It was engaging, interesting, interactive.

What did we learn?

  • Why blogging is important to promote and grow your business
  • What tools to use, tips and tricks
  • What return on investment you can expect from it
If you want to join sessions like this and gain innovative ideas that can help grow your translation business, join us at the next ELIA ND in Malta 3-4 October 2013.

We appreciate your feedback on our blog.

Greetings from Munich!
