Translation Companies meet for business: Icebreaking ELIA Networking Days in Munich

The day after the coronation of the new King of the Netherlands people practically from all over the world set off to Munich in southern Germany's Bavaria for a 3 day conference for the translation and globalization industry.

This hasn't been only a meeting of culturally diverse minds but also a feast for pan-european gastronomy: At this language industry "Mai-Fest" there's not only the beer selection that Germany is, righteously so, famous for but also an exquisite melange of Germanized mediterranean food that might even inspire Jamie Oliver to include in his sublime repertoire.

Industry leaders, trendsetters and kings and queens of a wide variety of Translation Companies gathered to collaborate, catch up on industry developments, learn about latest language technologies, and create innovative business models here in the BMW capital of the world.

It was a double kick off: the unofficial cocktail drew not only the CEOs of the translation companies but soccer aficionados from all over Munich for the spectacular match between Barcelona and Bayern München. A big success not only for German and Munich but also for the translation industry world-wide!

Coronation in the Netherlands? We'd say Translation reigns!
